Magnetising inks for printing
Magnetising inks have the ability to be attracted by a magnet. These inks contain tiny particles of iron which are excellent ferromagnets.
With their help it is possible to create a coating which attracts a magnet, enabling the attachment of magnetic materials.
The thicker ink layer (or a number of layers) is applied, the better the magnetic effect.
Inks alone are not able to create a magnetic field, they are just excellently susceptible to it.
Magnetising inks are used for printing advertising and educational boards, enabling their usage as magnetic boards.
They are also used as magnetic coatings on various surfaces, where promotional and advertising magnets are supposed to be attached to.
