Soft-touch varnishes for printing
Soft-touch varnishes are varnishes which give a velvety soft, nice-to-the-touch texture to printed surfaces.
The effect may resemble suede, satin or be slightly rubbery.
These varnishes have quite poor rub resistance, therefore, in order to avoid scratches, refining work should be carried out with great care and attention.
The soft-touch varnishes give an impression of colours’ enhancement on printouts.
They are most often used in printing luxurious packaging, advertising and representative materials, exclusive, luxurious labels, etc.
