Piezochromic paints
Piezochromic paints change colours under load, change of pressure or deformation. The colour change effect can be reversible or irreversible.
They are used in various industries, e.g. in oil industry (pipelines, pipes, rods, welds, tanks), shipbuilding (fuselage control), aeronautics (beams, aircraft wings, numerous parts of engines, landing gear, etc.), military aviation, automotive industry (engine block control), steel industry, production of boilers and pipelines, energy, facility maintenance, railways, particularly for the production of devices protecting axes, wheels and trolleys, for food control, etc.
