LUMinx – inks glowing after excitation

Inks which glow with colourful light after excitation by various physical factors, such as sunlight, ultraviolet or infrared light, or electricity.

These inks show the luminescence effect under the influence of different excitation factors. Invisible fluo inks glow under the UV light, and, respectively, IR inks – after illumination by infrared light, electroluminescent inks – after plugging into electricity, and phosphorescent inks – after exposure to („charging” with) the sunlight, artificial or UV light.

Often used for presenting a surprising effect, which had been invisible prior to use of an excitation factor. Equally as willingly used for protection of securities against counterfeit.
